Top 10 most popular new car first drives on whatcar.com

Proof that people are increasingly looking to go green can be found in the fact that eight of this month’s top 10 most popular first drives are electrified, with five of them being plug-in hybrids. It’s also telling that fully electric models enjoy such popularity – despite our drives of both the Volkswagen ID 3 and Honda E prototypes first being published many months ago.

The only two non-electrified models to make the top 10 – the Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Turbo 100 and Volkswagen Golf 1.5 TSI 150 – both fell several places compared with where they stood last month, showing how quickly interest can decline.
