Most popular used reviews – May 2021

Top 20 most popular used car reviews on whatcar.com

There’s very little change in the top 20 most viewed used reviews this month, with the first-generation Range Rover Evoque review remaining in the top slot for the fourth month in a row. Indeed the top five remain in exactly the same place as they were in April’s list, with only a minor reshuffling in the positions of the remaining reviews.

There are two new entrants in the bottom half of the top 20, though: the Vauxhall Insignia and the Seat Leon. The reviews for both cars have recently been updated and refreshed and their subsequent promotion via our social media channels will have gained them extra circulation. The neatly styled Insignia executive car offers plenty of equipment and is a highly capable mile-muncher, while the popular Leon is a great second-hand buy and a former What Car? Used Car of the Year award winner.

While our year-on-year views are up by a huge percentage, this as a consequence of the lockdown being in full force this time last year, our month-on-month views are more static. This could be echoing the used car sales, which for the first quarter of the year were, not surprisingly, down, thanks to the latest lockdown restrictions that lasted until the 12th of April. We’d expect next month’s figures, as we move into the second, less restrictive quarter, to register an increase.
