Most-read new car reviews – March 2020

Top 20 most-read new car reviews on whatcar.com

The effect of being crowned What Car?’s Car of the Year cannot be overstated, with the Ford Puma small SUV – having started to climb our ranking last month following its win – sitting on top of the pile this time. In fact, it attracted 46% more interest than our second-placed car, the electric Tesla Model 3.

The Puma joins two former overall Car of the Year winners – the Volvo XC40 and Kia e-Niro – on the list, which once again consists almost entirely of SUVs.

One exception is the new Hyundai i10 city car, which leapt into the top 20 in 14th place. This interest was helped by the fact that the i10 has gone straight to the top of its class, beating the Kia Picanto in a What Car? group test. A rise in money-saving offers on the old i10 also contributed to the interest in its review
