New Car Buying Marketplace Insights – April

New Car Buying: cars generating the most leads from buyers at whatcar.com

Seat is currently offering strong Target Price discounts across much of its model range, including up to £4991 off the Arona small SUV, up to £5062 off the Ateca family SUV and up to £5437 off the Leon family hatchback at the time of writing. Those discounts are among the most generous in their respective classes, and help the Arona to move up nine places on our list compared with last month, the Ateca to gain three places, and the Leon to charge into our top 20, taking 14th position.

Elsewhere, the Land Rover Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque both fall down our rankings this month, with the former moving from 13th to 19th position, and the latter falling from fourth to eighth place. Both are available with decent Target Price savings of up to £7063 and £3790 respectively, so remain at the top end of their respective classes in terms of discounts.

Nothing, however, can move the Volvo XC40 from the top of our list, with this five-star, What Car? Award-winning family SUV generating more than 1000 more leads for our dealers than this month’s second-place car, the similarly class-leading Ford Puma.
