New Car Buying Marketplace Insights – May

New Car Buying: cars generating the most leads from buyers at whatcar.com

Skoda is on a roll at the moment – not only does the Czech brand cover three of our top 20 spots with its models, including the all-electric Enyaq iV SUV for the first time, but there are healthy discounts to be enjoyed across its model range, including up to £1435 and up to £2152 off the Kamiq and Karoq SUVs respectively.

Fellow VW-Group brand Seat also secures three spots on this month’s list, and continues to offer some of the biggest discounts in its respective markets. The Ateca family SUV’s discount of up to £4186, for example, is substantially bigger than what buyers will find on rivals.

Conversely, the Volvo XC40 family SUV continues to drive the most inquiries, despite no Target Price saving being available at the time of writing. Indeed, the XC40’s lead over the similarly class-leading and second-placed Ford Puma has grown this month, with the former generating almost double the inquiries to our dealers over the latter.
