Over 200 dealers take up free trial

More than 200 new dealers sign up to What Car?’s New Car Buying online platform in 24 hours

– Rockar says: ‘Bridging the gap between physical and online lead generation has never been more important.’

– From April until end of June, businesses – existing and new – are not being charged to use platform that links trusted sellers with in-market buyers

– No contractual tie-in after this period for new users

– Decision taken amid the growing coronavirus pandemic that is starting to disrupt the new car market in the short-term

What Car? registered more than 200 new dealers to its New Car Buying online platform and lead management service in 24 hours at the end of last week.

The surge followed What Car?’s decision to provide access from April to end of June for free, with no tie-ins for new customers.

In addition to retailers, What Car? is working with several manufacturers looking to support their retailers and widen exposure to their online sales channels. 

Rachael Prasher, managing director of What Car?’s parent company, Haymarket Automotive, said: “We are all in this together – visitors to our website are in-market car buyers, and we need to be able to give them a great experience.
