The top 10 most popular reviews on whatcar.com

With the cold weather we’ve had recently, it should come as little shock that the cars which have risen the most up our top 20 since last month all come from one market: SUVs. Indeed, the Skoda Kodiaq and Hyundai Tucson move up three and four positions respectively, while the Kia e-Niro moves up five places and the Volkswagen Tiguan shoots up from 16th to 10th position. The latter’s move up our ladder is helped no doubt by tempting Target Price discounts, where buyers can save up to £3807 at the time of writing, and also by a credible four-star rating for the recently updated model, which was promoted on our daily newsletter on 13 February.

Elsewhere, despite its status as our Car of the Year, the Dacia Sandero moves down three places this month, while other models including the Land Rover Discovery sport and Jaguar F-Pace drop out of the top 20 entirely. Having fallen into second place last month, the fact that the Volvo XC40 has been crowned our Family SUV of the Year has cemented its place at the top of our list this time, and by a considerable margin.
