Toyota C-HR Competitor Insight – November 2018
Toyota C-HR Competitor Insight
Toyota’s distinctive family SUV is available as a hybrid or with only a turbocharged petrol engine. Despite this, only two hybrid models are considered by buyers researching the C-HR (according to our Toyota C-HR competitor insight). These are Toyota’s larger RAV4 SUV and the Hyundai Ioniq.
Interest in almost all competitors wanes slightly during the research process. The exceptions to this being the Nissan Qashqai, consideration of which rises from 11.4% to 20.7%. Plus, the RAV4, which goes from 5.1% to 7.2%.
By far the most attractive competitor overall is the Seat Ateca, which starts at 27.7% and falls only slightly to 25.5%. Indeed, the only other model that starts with a double-digit consideration rate is a close relation of the Ateca, the Skoda Karoq. However, this figure falls to 9.3% after the research process.
