What Car? has completed a marathon tour of UK car retailers and manufacturers to raise £3850 for the UK automotive industry’s independent charity Ben.
Travelling the length and breadth of the country, from Hendy Renault in Portsmouth, to West End Garage Skoda in Stirling, the tour celebrated the first birthday of What Car?’s relaunched website and New Car Buying platform, which has recorded more than 150 million page impressions since going live last September.
Ben works within the UK automotive industry to provide support for its workers and their families, with services to benefit health and wellbeing during their time in the industry and beyond.
The What Car? team visited more than 365 franchised retailers and manufacturers across the UK in the space of just one week, with £10 donated to Ben for every stop-off, and exceeded their original target to raise a total of £3850. What Car? was also joined by Car Dealer’s‘Bangers4Ben’ taxi for a leg of the tour in Portsmouth.
